A FAMILY DREAM, TAKING ROOT IN SIWA

Where the desert makes room for a dream.

LK Dunes is our family’s living story — a piece of desert slowly becoming a home, a farm and a place to reconnect.

Discover our story

01 — HOW IT STARTED

The land came first. The way forward took time.

We bought the land in 2017 while we were living abroad. For years, it was a dream waiting for its beginning. After moving back to Egypt, Siwa finally became part of our real family life — and slowly showed us how to begin.

What began as a piece of land became a dream the whole family could feel.

The beginning

We bought the land while living abroad.

October 2023

The first visit

Hassan and Atef visited the land for the first time after Hassan moved back to Egypt.

Later that month

The family arrives

Hassan returned with Toula, Liana and Klara. The whole family became deeply attached to Siwa.

2024

A quiet year

We did not visit and had no plan yet. The dream was there; we simply did not know how to begin.

October 2025

Meeting Aly

We met our neighbour Aly Rageh. His experience, integrity and care gave us someone we could truly trust.

December 2025

The work begins

We returned and started turning the dream into real work on the land — step by step.

02 — THE LAND TODAY

Still growing. Still learning.

The land is changing one honest step at a time. Water, clean energy and young roots now trace the shape of what is coming.

03 — OUR VISION

More than a farm. A way of living.

We dream of a place where family, land and people belong together — where food is grown with care, visitors slow down, and every product carries the truth of where it came from.

Our mission

To grow with respect for Siwa, create with purpose, and share the journey before the destination is complete.

Our dream

A living retreat, honest harvests and a lasting family mark — grown in Siwa and shared far beyond it.

04 — WHY SIWA

An oasis with a gravity of its own.

Far into Egypt’s Western Desert, Siwa has held its own rhythm for thousands of years. Olive groves, date palms, salt lakes, ancient oracle stories and a proud Siwi culture make it unlike anywhere else. You do not simply visit Siwa — you feel it.

A place worth the road

Come for the landscape. Stay for the stillness, the warmth and the energy that is difficult to explain until you are here.
